Will Finlayson
Co-Founder
Will has spent close to two decades building residential education programmes. He worked at a prestigious summer programme whilst at university and rose through the organisation to lead it as managing director. Along the way it became the first summer school company to score a perfect 15/15 in the British Council inspection and became ranked the UK’s number one summer school for eight consecutive years.
His background is in education beyond the classroom, with experience in sports coaching and leadership development. He holds an Executive MBA with Distinction from Leeds University Business School, and has served on the advisory group for the British Council’s accreditation scheme.
In 2008 Nick founded the international summer school that became the number-one programme in its industry, redefining what the participant and parent experience could be, before it was acquired by one of the world’s leading education groups. He has since advised education companies across the UK and Europe.
His instinct is to build. Over the last decade he restored an abandoned Tuscan farmhouse into one of the region’s finest retreat destinations; more recently, despite a non-technical background, he was invited as an early-access tester for one of the world’s leading AI labs.
